The show is titled "Kids Are Us". My pieces reflect my impressions of adult hood through my favorite images from childhood, the "Alice" illustrations by Tenniel.

Raising Money for the SPCA

The dog portrait for the SPCA fund raising auction sold! I donated 100% of the earnings to the SPCA.

New Show at Seed Corn Gallery, Berkeley CA

A new show opens at Seed Corn Gallery in Berkeley on March 20th, 2009. I was lucky to get one piece in the show. The theme of the show is "Beyond Boundaries".
I interpreted this as the boundaries of time and geography and presented portrait paintings of women members of my family, past and present, those individuals who reach out beyond time and space and created me and my daughters.
Seed Corn took one of the paintings for the show, "Giuseppina e Santina", oil and casein on canvas.
The show reception is this Friday, March 20th at Seed Corn Gallery 1918 University Avenue, Berkeley CA. The Reception is in the evening, I will post the time as soon as I know.
