Newest Paintining in "Canary in A Coal Mine" series

Newest piece in the series
"Somalia"
Animal: Somalian or Nubian Wild Ass (probably extinct in the wild)
Mother Color: pthalo green
Flower: Red/Black Rose

Considering the drought and famine in the Somalian region and the continuous political and tribal violence, this painting is more timely than I realized when I started putting the research together and began doing roughs for this series months ago.

Canary in a Coal Mine Series

Newest art pieces for a series I call "Canary in a Coal Mine;Messages from the Natural World". The animals portrayed in the series are endangered species, the flower is the artist's emotional response to the animal portrayed.
