Latest Commission - Portrait of Roxy

Just finished a commissioned portrait.
I have been looking at moving in new directions but I am always excited to create a portrait of someone's beloved pet for them.
This is the newest.
The medium is acrylic on clay board. The clay board gives the acrylic a richness and depth I don't alway see. A very exciting medium combination and a little less toxic than using oils.

Art Reception at Savvy Rest in Berkeley this Thursday at 7PM

I will be at Savvy Rest on Thursday March 10 with a solo showing of some of my "Nature" work:  Birds, Bees and other Curiosities...There will be a house concert and refreshments served! The art will be up thru April.

Savvy Rest is on Telegraph Avenue and Ashby, right across from Whole Foods.
